My name is December and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Kentucky (same license different name) and a Nationally Licensed Clinical Counselor (NCC). I am a Christian Counselor located in Savannah, GA but if you are unable to come to me I also offer services online via telemental health. My private practice work has included couples, families, individuals, children, adolescents, and adults. My passion is working with families and children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum and developmental disabilities. I practice from an eclectic model which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Behavioral Interventions and Attachment theories. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients with life-long challenges. I utilize evidenced-based theories to guide me in my sessions but mostly I work with you, the client, to move the session where you need it. I believe strongly in the importance of a time-tested method which may include giving homework and insights. You know yourself the best but we utilize homework/insight work to allow a deeper look into your life and challenges.
